Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Squigglepig is a free drawing party game made by R. Alan Williams ("I", "me"). These terms cover the Squigglepig apps and the web version at play.squigglepig.app. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play.

Who can play

Squigglepig is for players aged 13 and over.

Playing nicely

Everything you put into a game (your username, your prompts, your drawings and your guesses) is shown to the other players in your room. Keep it fun for everyone. Don't create or share anything that:

Rooms are private: only people with the room code can join, so share it only with people you want to play with.

Rooms

Once you create or join a room you stay in it, even with the app closed, until you tap Leave game. A room that nobody has done anything in for 10 minutes closes, and can't be reopened. Nobody can join a game that has already started.

Reporting a problem

If someone breaks these rules, leave the room and report it to [email protected], with the room code, the player's name and roughly when it happened. Games are deleted when they end, so the more detail you give, the better I can look into it.

Your content

Your drawings, prompts and guesses are yours. By playing, you let the other players in your room see them during the game. Squigglepig keeps them on its game server only while the game is running, so it can carry on if everyone closes the app, and deletes them when it ends (see the privacy policy), but other players could take screenshots, which is outside my control.

The game itself

The Squigglepig name, artwork, sounds and code belong to me, apart from the open-source software listed in the app under Credits & licenses, which is used under its own licenses. Please don't copy or redistribute the game.

No guarantees

Squigglepig is provided free and "as is". I work to keep it running well, but I can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or that a game won't be interrupted. I may change, pause or stop the game at any time.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, Squigglepig, or from what other players create or share in a game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep playing after a change, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
